Tourist Tsunami at the Eravicolam National Park, Munnar

With thousands of tourists visiting Munnar these days getting entry tickets to the Eravicolam National park is a hurdle. Online booking on the wildlife department can be booked only 48 hours in advance.  As this is not known to lions share of the tourists most of them return leaving it may be for the next trip.  Others spend hours at the ticket counter to get entry. The 200 tickets issued daily at the Munar office gets sold out in a jiffy !  Therefore tourists are advised to use the online facility 48 hours in advance.  For more details visit www.eravicolam.org
