Kodaikanal
A popular hill station situated on top of upper Palani Hills, Kodaikanal mesmerizes any visitor with its serene atmosphere, rocks, woods, and stunning lakes. Kodai Lake is one of the main attractions for the tourists of Kodaikanal. Built in 1863 by a former District Collector of Madurai, the lake is situated at an elevation of 2285m above sea level in the midst of evergreen lush slopes and is spread over 60 acres. You can hire boats from the Kodaikanal Boat and Rowing Club or Tamil Nadu Tourist Development Corporation
