The Cherai Beach is 30 km from Cochin and is bordering the Vypeen Island. This beach is most suited for swimming. The nearby typical paddy fields and coconut groves are added attraction to the beach. Occasionally dolphins are seen here. How about playing a game of beach volley ball and taking a dip into the sea? The high mast lamp makes the beach a spectacular sight even at night.
